R C Lane Obituary (1944

R C Lane, 75 years old of Russellville, AL passed away September 11, 2019 at his residence. Visitation will be Friday, September 13, 2019, from 5-8 pm at Akins Funeral Home in Russellville, AL. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home. Burial will be in King Cemetery. R C was born August 22, 1944, in Colbert County, AL to Henry and Fannie Mae Lane. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret Lane; and his brothers, Jerry Lane and Larrie Joe Lane. R C is survived by his children, Sandra Nix (Ricky), Danny Lane (Lisa), Barbara Hill (Toney), Tony Lane (Rose), and Virginia Wilson; his siblings, Leroy Lane, Ellen Dewanda Wright (Curtis), Brenda Mae Wright, and Henry Eugene Lane (Jennell); his fourteen grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Southern Care Hospice and his special nurse, Brittany. Akins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
