Eula "Beatrice" Harris Barnes, 94 years old of Phil Campbell, AL. passed away November 1, 2020. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 11 am until 2 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2 pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Coy Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Beatrice was a member of Pleasant Hill FCM Church. She was born December 9, 1925, in Franklin County to William and Effie Morgan Harris. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James "Jim" Onis Barnes; her son, Windell Ray Barnes; her brothers, Rayburn O. Harris and Raymond O. Harris; her sister, Bermie I. Harris; sister -in- law, Buddy Harris; and her brother-in-law, Arlis Newell. She is survived by her sons, James Edward Barnes (JoAnna) and Jeffrey Wayne Barnes (Tammi); her sister Beulah Newell; her brother, Orvil L. Harris (Elaine); her sister-in-law, Barbara Harris Robbins; and her grandson, James Daniel Barnes. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Akins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
