Obituary Burley Wyatt Jones, age 78, of Russellville, AL passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015. The visitation will be Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Akins Funeral Home The funeral service will be at 2pm Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Pleasant Hill FCM Church, lie-in-state from 1-2 pm, with Bro. Darryl Whitehead and Bro. Venlon Bradford officiating. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hunter Jones, Danny Ray Morgan, William Bishop, Leo Pinkard, Wendell Gann, Gary Gann, Tony Hodge, and Vernon Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dent Morgan and Roy Burnett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Lillian Jones; brother, Milton Jones; sister, Bernice Heaps. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jones; children, Byron Jones and wife Beth, Danna Garrison and husband Lyle; grandchildren, Hunter, Anna-Brooke, Katelyn, and Abby.
