Bettie Sue Hester Entrekin, 86 years old of Russellville, AL passed away January 27, 2023 at Arabella Health & Wellness of Russellville (Russellville Health Care). Visitation will be January 29, 2023 from 2:00 - 3:00 at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. The funeral will immediately follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with Bro. Randy Pike and Bro. Kent Walker officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Garden. Mrs. Entrekin was born January 21, 1937 in Franklin County, AL to Arthur and Elva Hester. She was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Entrekin.; her parents Arthur and Elva Hester, and step-daughter Margie Entrekin Duncan. Bettie Sue is survived by best friends, Louise Woodruff and Sue Bowen with a host of cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Ryan Pike, Cameron Vandiver, Tracy Pearce, Johnny Bowen, Bobby Gene Woodruff, Jr., Leon Strickland, Duane Strickland, and Austin Yelton.
